Legs. And why I need to find a new place to take photos.

I’ve become quite accustomed to taking photos in restrooms. It is a tradition I started last year in Austin at Hut’s Hamburgers – I loved the funky decorating job there, and one thing just led to another. But after reviewing the photos I took this morning pre-workout (yeah, really – my hair looked like that before I started), I’ve realized that when it comes to the gym, I need to drop-kick the bathroom venue. I mean really, just how many photos of toilets can I post…

Well, apparently, quite a few:

But I promise to stop.

My session today was fun, specifically because of the company – Mike, and my partners Missy and Jae. But I was a bit tired and it showed in my workout. Oh I completed it as required, but it was more of an effort than usual, and I was sweating profusely by the end of it. You should have seen my hair then…

In the gym with Mike:

Partners: Jae and Missy

Jump Rope Warm-up

Smith squat to toe-raise: Bar (45 lbs.) + 20 lbs. x 15; +40 lbs. x 12; +60 lbs. x 10; +80 lbs. x 10

Romanian Deadlifts: Bar (45 lbs. ) x 20; + 20 lbs. x 15; +30 lbs. x 12; +40 lbs. x 10

setted with Bridges off Stability Ball: 15; 15; 15; 15; 15

Prone Leg Press: didn’t record weights. 20; 15; 12; 10

setted with Rubber Band Adductors/Abductors (with cuff): 12 per leg; 12; 12; 12

And done… No cardio or flex or core. I was toast.
